The BMW M5 returns this year with an improved charging rate, new interior color options, and several optional packages and addons for more customization. Choose from the stunning new dark Violet with Black Merino leather or Taupe with Deep Lagoon. For the ultimate comforts, add the Executive package, which adds ventilated front seats, rear-seat sunshades, and heated rear seats. There is also an M Driver's performance package available if you'd like to increase the top speed from 155 mph to 190 mph.

Exterior Design

Choose from a traditional sedan body style or an exclusive, unique Touring model for even more passenger and cargo space, but both cut an unmistakable silhouette on Beltway 8. With hallmark M design features like a quad-exit exhaust, massive M Sport Brakes, and aerodynamic wing mirrors, you'll be hard to ignore on the roads around Harris County.

Performance 

The BMW M5 relies on a powerful plug-in hybrid powertrain for motivation. 717 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque power all four wheels courtesy of M xDrive all-wheel drive. Launching from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds or less ensures every drive is a white-knuckle one.

A 14.8-kilowatt-hour battery is standard and offers up to 25 miles of driving in pure electric mode. The battery can charge at a faster rate thanks to BMW upgrading the battery's max charging speed from 7.4 kilowatts to 11 kilowatts.

Technology

The BMW M5 comes packed with technology to keep you connected as you commute throughout Texas. A head-up display, configurable digital gauge cluster, touchscreen center screen, and so much more all come standard. So does built-in navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto® compatibility.

The standard 14.9-inch central infotainment screen is highly configurable and runs the newest BMW iDrive 8.5 software. In addition to the usual hands-free conveniences, you can stream videos and even play games on the touchscreen while parked.

Safety
