Career Gear accepts anything that a man wears - literally! However, it must be in good condition or better. The goal is to use the items you no longer wear or no longer have a need for to help someone else land a job and improve their life.

Career Gear's mission is to empower men and male youth through economic independence, a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help them thrive both at home and at work.

Over 1,400 clients served in the last 4 years at Career Gear Houston have found employment with the average annual salary being $38,000 a year. 42% of those clients no longer received public assistance after 6 months.

Career Gear has also assisted almost 900 veterans in their transition back into the civilian workforce. It takes the partnering of over 100 member organizations, over 8,500 volunteer hours and donations for the public to make all of this happen!
