BMW vs Lexus Inventory

Our BMW vs. Lexus comparison begins here, taking a look at the vehicles available. Each brand offers numerous sedans, coupes, and SUVs, but there's a good chance you'll find exactly what you want with BMW.

Do you want the perfect coupe for drives around the Lone Star State? The BMW lineup offers the 2 Series, the 4 Series, and the 8 Series. The Lexus brand only offers the RC and the LC coupes.

If you want to truly change your driving experience, you might be interested in the M models at our location. As a BMW M Certified dealership, we're qualified to sell and service the performance editions of the 2 Series and the 4 Series.

BMW vs Lexus Warranty and Awards

There's good news for both BMW and Lexus drivers. You'll be behind the wheel of a reliable vehicle with warranty coverage backing it up. Purchase a vehicle from BMW or Lexus, and you'll see that it comes with a 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty. If you're thinking about a certified pre-owned model, warranty coverage can be added along with roadside assistance.

While the BMW and the Lexus warranties may have their commonalities, the overall quality of these vehicles differs. J.D. Power has awarded manufacturers based on vehicle dependability, quality, and performance.

BMW recently racked up six awards - two for quality, two for dependability, and two for performance. Lexus only received four awards overall and just one for quality.

Maintaining Vehicle Performance: BMW vs Lexus

Each BMW model year 2017 and newer features BMW Ultimate Care, standard for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever milestone is reached first. Maintenance items included in this plan are engine oil and oil filter changes, brake fluid, spark plugs, the remote control, and the engine air filter.

Lexus makes it easy with complimentary first and second scheduled maintenance services offered at six months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles. However, that's all you'll get with Lexus. BMW goes further with its 3-year/36,000-mile offering, while Lexus cuts off care after just a year.
